Privacy policy
Todoo works without an account. Your notes and settings are stored in your browser, and the app does not send your board contents to Granite Gull Studios.
What Todoo stores
Todoo uses your browser’s local storage to save your notes, their colours and positions, completed tasks, daily-note schedules, and preferences. This keeps your board available when you return using the same browser and browser profile.
The app does not automatically sync your board between devices or browsers. People with access to your browser profile may be able to access your notes.
Backups and deleting your data
In Settings → Data, you can export your board as a JSON backup file or import a backup. These files are handled in your browser; the app does not upload them to us. Keep exported files somewhere you trust, as they contain your notes and settings.
You can delete notes or clear all notes from the app. To remove all saved Todoo data, including preferences, clear this website’s local storage using your browser’s site-data controls. Clearing site data may also remove data used by other apps on the same website.
Clearing browser data, using a private browsing session, or changing browser profiles can make your board unavailable. Export a backup before clearing data or moving to another browser.
Cookies, analytics, and website requests
The Todoo app and these Todoo pages do not include analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party scripts. The app saves its state in local storage rather than cookies.
Your browser still requests these pages and images from the website’s hosting service. These requests include standard connection information, such as your IP address and browser information, which the hosting service may record in server logs. Your note contents are not included in those requests by the app.
When you contact us
If you use Granite Gull’s contact form, the name, email address, and message you submit are sent to us so we can respond. Do not include private note contents or a full backup unless you intend to share them.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if Todoo’s data handling changes and revise the date above. This policy describes the Todoo web app and its landing and privacy pages.

Tell us which browser and device you use, what you were trying to do, and what happened. If you share a screenshot, hide any personal information first.
Where did my notes go?
Check you’re using the same browser, profile, and website address as before. Notes are saved only in that browser. If site data has been cleared, you will need an exported backup to restore your board using Settings → Data → Import.
When do daily notes appear?
Daily notes are added at the chosen time while Todoo is open, or when you next open the app. Todoo does not send background notifications.
